Hey all,
Ye Olde Commons has taken some damage in the recent storms. The tavern and cabins are currently without electricity. Camp staff has electricians on site working to get things fixed prior to the event, but just in case the work isn't done we want to let everyone know so you can plan ahead.
A couple of clarifications:
Yes, that means no lights in the tavern. You'll get the full Krushkov experience! (Expect the tavern to be lit predominantly by battery powered lanterns.)
There is running water in the tavern, but no water heater. Brace for showers accordingly. Alterations to our meal plans should be minimal, but we will let you know if there are any menu changes.
If you have a medical need for electricity (such as a CPAP machine or an assistance device that must be charged) please let us know. We will reserve a bunk for you in the script sleeping area at the house where you will have power.
EVERYONE should bring some sort of battery operated light with them. Open flames, gas lanterns, etc are not allowed.
